Photo of the Week: Quarry

IMG_5912Texada Island, Canada

While in British Columbia, we decided to visit Texada island on the Sunshine Coast.  This tiny island with a population of just over one thousand, holds one of the hidden gems of BC.  This glorious lake with crystal clear aquamarine water is in the site of an abandoned quarry.  The location is well hidden, with no marked signs to indicate its whereabouts, but once you find it, it’s totally worth the effort.

Every week, I’ll share a photo with you from my adventures around the world and at home.  Most of my photos have little or no post processing.  If you would like to see more, please click the ‘Follow’ button.
