Photo of the Week: Lines

The ultra modern Pritzker Pavilion serves as the centerpiece for Millennium Park and home to the Grant Park Music Festival, as well as many other outdoor music performances throughout the year.  Frank Gehry’s creative design of interlocking steel trellis spanning the great lawn gives a futuristic feel to the space, and the tall buildings provide the perfect backdrop to this beautiful setting.

Photo of the Week: Taft Point

IMG_1807Yosemite National Park, USA

Taft point is one of the lookout points at Yosemite National Park with an uninterrupted view of the valley below.  If you are brave, you can walk all the way to the edge and look over the precipice.  That little dot in the middle, sitting on the overhang is Fausto. Did I mention that there are no railings? Since this place is less crowded than Glacier point, we found a quiet place to sit and admire the breathtaking vista.

Photo of the Week: French Quarter

IMG_5704New Orleans, United States

This iconic view of the soaring St. Louis Cathedral and the statue of General Jackson atop his horse immediately brings to mind the historic Jackson Square located in the heart of the French Quarter. This famous landmark, originally founded in 18th century has been at the center of New Orleans history, from its founding during the early colonial years to the triumphant victory of the NFL’s Saints.
