The one hundred year old Navy Pier is not just a fun place to spend the afternoon, but it is also a historic landmark.  It is over 3000 feet long, jutting into Lake Michigan; from the pier, you have a great view of the Chicago skyline with the prominent John Hancock Building with its double antenna.

Photo of the Week: Lines

The ultra modern Pritzker Pavilion serves as the centerpiece for Millennium Park and home to the Grant Park Music Festival, as well as many other outdoor music performances throughout the year.  Frank Gehry’s creative design of interlocking steel trellis spanning the great lawn gives a futuristic feel to the space, and the tall buildings provide the perfect backdrop to this beautiful setting.

Cheap Flight Alert: Multiple Cities to Miami

If you are looking to get away from the cold this winter and party it up in Miami, you’re in luck.  Frontier Airline will add a new flight path from multiple cities to Miami.  The one way direct flight from New York, Chicago, Philadelphia to Miami starts at $73, including all taxes and fees. This is a very competitive price as they try to grab market share from American Airlines.  Continue reading
