I love cherry blossoms, where the bloom signals the end of another winter and heralds in the beautiful weather of spring. This morning while browsing the Internet, I came across this picture. It piqued my interest, so I did a little digging around. This lovely avenue turns out to be in Bonn, Germany (not Japan!). Bonn is only a few hours drive from my aunt in Düsseldorf, so this is definitely on the list of places I want to visit. The challenging part is how to be there during the 1-2 week window, while the trees are in full bloom.
Wow! Can you take us with you???

That would be awesome, if only there are cheap airfares around that time. I’ll keep an eye out and share if I see anything!
